Two years to UVA, followed by two years at UVA
After spending your first two years of undergrad at our partner school, Piedmont Virginia Community College, you can take advantage of PVCC's direct transfer agreement with UVA. Hundreds of PVCC students progress to the University of Virginia every single year — it's one of the most reliable transfer pipelines in the country.
And you'll spend those two years in Charlottesville, Virginia: regularly named one of the top college towns in America, and one of the happiest places to live in the country. UVA’s iconic campus is in the neighborhood and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains are on your doorstep. It's a great place to spend two years building toward your dream.

What GPA do I need to pursue UVA?
Students attending UBridge’s Virginia campus in Charlottesville can qualify for guaranteed admission to UVA with a 3.4/4.0 GPA, assuming they also complete the required courses for their intended major. Keep in mind that some majors may require a higher GPA or additional prerequisites, so the real target GPA can depend on what you plan to study. UBridge advisors help you choose a major strategically and build a two-year plan that keeps you eligible for the guarantee.
What TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo do I need to pursue UVA?
UVA transfer evaluation is based primarily on your academic performance in college, including your English coursework—especially for those students who are applying for the guarantee. Your English test score (TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo) is mainly needed to meet the minimum admissions requirements to get into UBridge. Once enrolled, your progress and performance in your English courses is what matters most for the UVA pathway.

Is this a tutoring service?
No, our advisors cover much, much more than tutoring. You will be assigned a professional, in-person advisor who covers all aspects of you or your students’ needs. From creating a full two-year plan to transfer to UVA, to actually registering for classes, required academic meetings/updates during the semester, written reports to parents/agents, and transfer assistance to UVA in year two.
